The Company: Our client is a long-established, reputable insurance company in the heart of
Dubai looking for a Chinese-speaking Business Development Manager to help them reach
the East Asian market, and to maintain existing relationships with Chinese speaking
clientele.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Identify fresh business prospects within the insurance sector and explore innovative
strategies for capturing untapped market segments, both mainstream and niche
opportunities
• Provide training to fellow sales team members on the company's product offerings when
necessary
• Coordinate with clients regarding policy renewals, claims, quotations, and other clientrelated information required for insurance policy issuance
• Assist in the assessment and evaluation of risks, as well as the thorough examination of
proposals
• Generate computerized reports on a weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc basis for the management
team
• Maintain and manage both digital and manual records to ensure the efficient flow of work
processes
• Expand the company's new business ventures across various insurance categories through
networking and various business development methods
• Offer guidance to clients in selecting the most suitable insurance plans
• Collect payments from clients promptly
• Maintain a well-organized Excel sheet to track ongoing events and activities
• Propose innovative ideas for marketing products and increasing demand, such as organizing
events or enhancing product packaging.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Mandarin Speaker (Essential)
• Possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (with attestation) (Essential)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Business English (Essential)
• Must possess a high level of experience in the insurance industry (Essential)
• Preferably hold a CII Certificate
• Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office applications
• Demonstrated adaptability and ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
• Strong team player with a goal-oriented mindset
• Good command of Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
